And the first sail for Gilligan, as well.


The weather cooperated with light winds and sunny skies on both days we went out onto the Sea of Cortez, and the relative boredom was punctuated on the second day by a humpback whale sighting or three.


But for me, the real excitement came when I had a second chance to view this Challenger ketch, which is for sale by a general contractor who lives in Sedona, AZ.




I’ve been able to speak briefly to her owner, but that’s about all I’ve got for now. At least he knows someone’s nibbling.
