During the final push to put down the last of the shingles onto the Ranch, at least three swarms of bees flew overhead, one of which decided to make a nearby palo verde tree a brief rest stop.

Seeing as how I have the ridge of my roof open, I gave particular notice to the swarm’s intentions.

After a day and a half of resting in the palo verde, it seems they’ve moved on, just before I went out to photograph the ball of bees.

Much too warm temps are plaguing Southern Arizona, and I’m likely to be tied up commissioning coolers for the next week.
